I've got a long memory

I'm working on a story for a hospitality magazine and called a PR person about a news release that came out a few months ago. This editor is fantastic about squirreling away background info for stories. Even before the PR person heard my request, he said that he would only work on interviews for things they were currently pitching.

That's certainly his prerogative, but it's my prerogative to not work with him, his agency or ever visit his client (a national casual dining chain). Maybe this guy was just having a bad day; it happens to us all. But he owed it to me (and especially the client) to hear what I had to say.

(Come to find out, this guy's the founder of the PR agency. Makes walking away that much easier!)
