- Edited the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market show issue for Casual Living in 1999. Also edited the magazine for several months while it was between editors
- Consulted with the Australian Consulate in Atlanta to answer questions for a grill manufacturer that's considering introducing products to the American market
- Presented results of Casual Living's annual barbecue survey at the 2001 Hearth Product Association Expo in Salt Lake City
- Helped judged the 2001 Casual Living merchandising awards for specialty retailers
